I have 5 text boxes and I want then aligned horizontally with equal spacing between each of them. How to do that? |

Try layer->distribute (after selecting the layers). |

depending on what you are trying to achive, maybe a plugin called guideguide would solve the problem.
it bascially gives the ability to add multiply guides with equal spaces, like in Illustrator.
I find it very useful.
