Hi! Simple-Question: Whenever I enlarge a 8-bit picture it loses its 8-bit quality and turns out extremely blurry. How do i avoid this? |

Use nearest neighbor when you enlarge the image. |

hi,
auieos- thank you for pointing that out.. looks good, my old cs didn't have that.. need to read up on that one..
other meathods..
generally when resizinglarger one uses bicubic smoother but i always experiment with that and bicubic sharper .. to see which works out best for a image...
now along with that... a common meathod is the 10% rule . essentially you enlarge the image in 10% increments untill you get the appx size you want..
as rule this give pretty good results... |
