ok...so I have this picture here:

Is there any way I could make it recognize the white-space as just transparency? The shadows at the bottom don't matter, as I'm just using the top half...so maybe anything that color (white) it edits out?

Here you go, i did that using the magic wand tool, white contiguous set to on, so that it select sall parts of the image that are teh smae colour, and click on the white backgrouind, and then i hit delete, and now it has a ternasparent background
