Please be gentle I am new and also a n00b

I have been given a task to edit some color on pictures..

If you look at attatched picture you will see it is a blue LED cluster, I need to change the blue color to white, red, orange, green.

I also don't want to loose the lighting effect, I thought this would be easy :-(

I think what you're looking for is:
hue/saturation adjustment and/or the selective color adjustment. They are under the half black/half white circle under the layer pallet.
