I used Photoshop 7 and just installed CS2 and now Control J does not duplicte layers. Is there some place I need to check to allow duplicating layers?
I did have problem getting it to install with some of the tools missing.

Welcome to the forum. It still is Ctrl+J so I would try a reinstall, especially since you have tools missing.
