question one, i want to flip an image vertically, when i flip it vertically this happens, but the pattern i have applyed does not flip? how can i stop this?

Question two, is that ive duplicated a layer, when i add a drop shadow to one layer, i get the same drop shadow on the other layer.

Question three, is it possible to apply more than one drop shadow on a layer?

1. Flatten the layer style. Create a new blank layer below the one with layer style then merge down the upper layer. This will rasterize the styles so it will flip with the picture.

2. When you duplicate a layer, it also duplicates the styles. If you don't want the style, just drag it to the trash bin.

3. If you take the image from from #1 above you can add another drop shadow if you wish. Or you can separate the style from the layer, Layer-Layer Style-Create layer. This will place the style on it's own layer, then you can add another layer style to the image layer.
