I have the Intuos2 9x12, which is really like 13x19. It's huge. I probably should have got the 6x8. Either way, it's been the best toy for my computer since photoshop. I hoping I'll get the airbrush for Christmas. |

I've recently upgraded from the graphire2 4x5 to graphire3 6x8. I can't go back to using just a mouse for PS. Way to much control with the pen. Everybody else in the studio uses a mouse and it drives me up the wall when I have to do work on an image @ their station. If you're serious about using PS to it's full, then get a Wacom tablet, and REALLY use it. (I had the 4x5 for months before I really used it. I didn't give it enough time to get comfortable with it.
I looked into getting a Intuos but they cost a little more and I can't see any reason that I personally need tilt sensetivity, or the quick access buttons either. I use a Nostromo n52 Speedpad for quick shortcut access. |

I've been curious, how does a tablet actually work? If I have the tip close enough for the tablet to sense, then press it with my finger, nothing. But as soon as I touch it to the plastic of the tablet, it registers a click. I'm at a loss for how it really works. |

I've got a spare stylus and mouse laying around that I keep meaning to take apart and fiddle with. I'm guessing that since theres no batteries then it's got to be a magnetic sensitivity system. Anybody else got any ideas? |
