I asked because I don't. I find the clone and healing tools can do the same job, if not better than the patch tool. |

I use it fairly often, more for certain tasks than others, but I probably use it as part of my workflow rather than either or. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

hi,
myself... i always find it depends on the image on which tool i use ...
and on your personal preference
and of course how well versed am i in using a tool ...
for example... i know a few people that they swear by the quick select tool for 90% of there selections but other people prefer to use other selection meathods.. again myself... depends on the image.. which meathod i use. |

I used to use it a lot more before content aware fill was possible. |
