Hi everyone,
I have tried and tried to achieve a certain pattern effect in photoshop but to no avail. After leaving it for some time lying to rot I decided to look for help instead of trying again for hours with a crappy result. Could you please take a look the the example below. I am trying to achieve something like this example. A scroll type background with an embedded or watermarked map. The egdes of the paper are not of importance or the actual contents of the example but simply the paper background effect.

Any help as to where I may find some tutorials to achieve this result would be greatly appreciated.

something that you might want to try is brush sets. I know that i have personally gotten plenty of stamps the you could use to "make" that kind of effect. You could also create in photo shop. then set the opacity to about 25-30 depending on how much you wanted it to show. I hope this helps. if not then do a search for photoshop tutorials on youtube. theres more than a few great ones. |
