Hello,

This forum is intended for our users to receive reviews and feedback on their web and graphic design work.

In addition to our User Guidelines, this thread will lay out some more specific guidelines for participation in this forum. Please read them before posting.

Posting Your Work

We do not currently make you review any other sites/graphics before posting yours. However, we would appreciate it if you took the time to review some of the other posts made in this forum.

If you are posting a site, link directly to the site. If you are posting a graphic, link directly to the graphic or attach it to your post.

If you have specific things that you want feedback on, tell people what they are.

Do not ask for people to register at your site.

Keep in mind that the purpose of a review is not really to pat you on the back. It is to improve your site/graphic through suggestions, feedback and criticism. Some people will comment just on what they don't like. This doesn't mean they are out to get you - it means that they are doing what they are supposed to be doing.

Reviewing Works

Read the first post in the thread - the one by the person requesting the review. If he or she is looking for feedback on specific aspects of the site, try to fulfill these requests.

You may want to include information about your operating system, browser, screen resolution, etc.

Now, what if you think it completely stinks? Saying "it stinks" does nothing besides anger people, helps no one and defeats the purpose of the thread. If you tell them "it stinks, start over" - what do you think they will start over with? The same skill set they had when they created the last graphic. They won't have learned anything or improved. So, give them something to improve on. Kindly point out a way to improve their image. If they are trying to accomplish a certain effect, link them directly to a tutorial. Help them improve.

Thank you for reading.
