I am new to photoshop and I am trying to create a cd insert using grayscale pics. I want to put text over them and stuff like that, but I can't seem to figure this out. How do I size this so that it will for into a CD jewel case. I have templates so I know the dimensions but I cant see where to enter them. If anyone has done this before or If anyone can offer anyhelp ata lla it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

create a new document 12 x 12 or whatever size your cases are (mine are 12x12) use the move tool to drag your image on, the edit/transform and drag the corners to fit (hold down shift to keep the proportions) double click on the image when you get the size right to apply the transformation. Now click the text tool and select your font type in what you need (use the move tool to position it) then when you have finished flatten the image (layer/flatten) if you need a .JPEG for the web.

You can type in the sizes in image/image size or in the new document (file/new) Wayne
