I have an image that was drawn on basic printer paper:

- FYI, It's a large file

I'd like to touch up the image to make it look as though it was professionally done on a computer. A thumbnail would also most likely be used, somewhere in the 100x100 to 150x150 pixel range. For this though, I would suspect that some detail would need to be removed.

I've researched and read quite a bit but was hoping if someone could condense it all into something resembling a step-by-step tutorial. I plan on rescanning using different settings, plus I've read a bit on Vectorizing.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Thx

The original is pretty good as it is, I wouldn't do a lot to it myself, as for the thumbnail at 150 pix it needed a little levels tweak to show some more detail. Ideally for what you want Illustrater might be a better option, but it would be a fair bit of work, and as I hardly ever use it I would not be the best person to advise you. Wayne

Thank you, that looks much better. I'll look into Illustrator in the meantime
