I realize this is probably a simple thing but I don't understand it and ever since I got my first version of PS (7) It's been the same. When I load up a regular image the colour is much different to when I save for web. Whilst editing an image it goes almost browny purple where in fact the colour is black or white. Then as soon as I press save for web, the preview in there has defined colours and how it should look. I now own CS2 and it's the same. Really annoying I tried looking in colour settings but I don't really understand it.
