Hi,
I am new to this forum and am learning PS by the school of Hard Knocks. If someone could help me do the following, I would appreciate it.
I am in the process of making a collage of photos for Christmas. I would like to know how to cut out a photo and place in on a different background but make it look like it belonged there to begin with. It is a multitude of candids with a few portraits on an artistic version of the US flag as a background. Most lighting is outdoor sunlight or flash for the candids so I know that lighting for all the photos will not be the same and is really not an important issue.
Thanks,

We first of all when you cut out your pic, make sure the border fades out.. :Select/feather the more pixels you give the longer it will fade out.
Secondly try the different blending options of the layer to which you have copied the pic. (upper right corner of your layers-window)
Hope this helps.. _________________ Witam
