I use PS CS5 on an iMac running OS X Lion v10.7.2. When trying to print on my Epson Stylus Photo R2400 (Gutenprint v5.2.3) Photoshop shuts down. It happens even when I clic on the "print settings" button or the "cancel" or "done" buttons. No problem printing from any other software on my computer.
Here's some additional info:
Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphic card ATI Radeon X1600 128 MB
Doe's any one have a suggestion what the problem might be? |

hi,
not that familiar with mac's ... but it does appear the issue resolves around ps... since everything works ok...
but 2 suggestions..
1. check and see if you have the latest epson drivers...
2. this looks very similar to your issue,
on your cs5 do you have all the latest updates..
came across this thread where they only had 12.0 and when the upgraded to 12.0.4 problem went away...
let us know if any thiese works or not... |

Upgrading to 12.0.4 was what I had to do. Now it works just fine.
