I need so help. I’m working on a photo that I just cropped, and now want to add a colored border. The problem is when I open the Canvas Size box; the “Canvas Extension Color” at the bottom is grayed out. I can’t change the additional canvas color. The additional canvas is transparent. I’m not sure what I did to make this happen because I’ve been able to it before.
Any help? |

The canvas extension color can only be chosen when you're working on the 'background' layer (the base layer that is locked by ps itself). However if you don't have a backgroundlayer to begin with, or you're on another layer, just do the canvas resizing. The added area will be transparant. Just create a new layer beneath the others and fill it with the color of your choice.. and there is your border.
Hope this helps.. _________________ Witam
