Here's my go at making it a 4x6. I did a black and white of it too, simply because it's easier to take out some detail in a black and white. Smaller would be better. Not being sarcastic, but perhaps a wallet size would be better. I've also attached another "version", a little smaller, but a little sharper. It's about as good as I could get it.

EDIT: The reason why they're so big on the screen is that they are 200 ppi, just incase you should actually want to print them.

First off you need to understand the realtionship between DPI and camera phones.

Camera phones do not allow more than 72 DPI per image because they can not support more than 72 DPI because of their screen and memory sizes, plus you need at least 300 DPI to make a good 4X6 photo.

A note on memory size: Memory size on LaSa's photo to start WAS around 40 KB and you need at the very least around 4 MB to get a good 4X6 print. Camera phones can not support large files and I don't know if they will support them soon.

Hmmm....I dunno about that. At work, I just got in a Nikon D2X, and in the jpeg settings, it shoots at 72dpi. I shot 2 identical images of gravel and grass , one in the highest tiff setting (300dpi) and one in the lowest jpeg setting (72dpi) and cranked out 2 8"x10" prints without making any adjustments or sharpening, and I couldn't tell the difference. A lot of it has to do with interpolation of the camera and the software that you use to "doctor" the image, and the fact that to gain the file size, a cameras raw file will be (usually) larger than an 8X10. The D2X's lowest setting captures at 72dpi and creates a 35 mb file of 4288 px wide and 2848 px high, and is 59 by 39 inches. It's the same thing with small point and shoot cameras, they get their file size by making excessively large raw images at a low resolution. This is good information to know when buying a digital camera, not to mention that it's always good to make an informed decision when purchasing anything, it reallys gets the sales people worked up when you know more than they do Brow
