Bulk export png's into psd's. How?

Hi,

I am trying to figure out if there is an easy to way to batchprocess around 100 .png files and convert them into multi-layered
.psd files.

It appeared to me that Fireworks does not support the .psd format within File - Batch processing. I have tried over a dozen tools in the past few days including various shareware and freeware utilities with 0 results. The results are always the same. The most common graphic conversion tools dont support .png -> .psd. Some support it for example: Easy Graphics Converter

But the output .psd file is a bitmap and not multi layered. Confused

Any suggestions what I could do at this point?
