hello welcome to the forums and photoshop itself, i hope you realise that any photoshop brushes will work with cs2, because photoshop is backwards compatible with brushes, so it can use any brushes made for any version of photoshop before it, just thought i would tell you, anyway, photoshop brush sites, i have 2310 brushes, which i got off a disc free with a magazine, if you want, ill be happy to rar them and email them to you.
For some reason i cant get the brushes to work.... I would double click on after i dl and it comes up in notepad in bunches of letters and numbers and wierd stuff. So i tryed putting it in the photoshop folder by brushes but still nothing....Any help NVM I'm an idiot sorry i figured it out.

Just for future reference if this problem occurs again to anyone, here are the steps to downloading and installing brushes:
1: Go to a Brush Site from the list above or any other brush site
2: Download a brush you like
3: Copy the brush (.abr file) to :
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop\Presets\Brushes
(if it is a .rar or .zip file you downloaded, right click the file and click
extract files, and then clcik browse and find:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop\Presets\Brushes)
4: Rather than double clicking the .abr file (which is un-necessary) open
Photoshop and create a new document (doesnt matter about the size
or Properties of the Document)
5: Select the brush tool and right-click somewhere on the image then,
click the little arrow in a circle pointing right (located in the top right of
the box that came up when you right clicked) and the brush should be
in the list of brushes that appears there, if so, click the brush and
your off! However, if the brush is not in that list, select load brush and
select the .abr file and the brush will load for you to use, and will
appear in the brush list when you next load photoshop.
I hope that mini- tutorial on loading brushes was easy to understand, now go off and enjoy your brushes! _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

Yeh, they will, all of the brushes provided there, are brushes that i used in photoshop cs, and any photoshop brushes released in a version after it will work, so for example, if you had a huge collection of brushes for Photoshop 6, they will work in every version of photoshop after it,
and they are all for Photoshop CS 8, so yes, they will work for CS _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk
4. in the box that comes up, there is a arrow at the top right of it, click it and go down to, load brushes. Choose desktop and double click it.
chi ching, your done. _________________ >img resizemod="on" onload="rmw_img_loaded(this)" src="http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/8159/armysig1ek.jpg">
