How do I make a certain object in a color picture and make just that object black and white? Or even vice versa? Take the the object of a black and white pic and have it in it's original color? Many Thanks... |

There are many ways, run a search on this forum should give you many results.
A quick way is to simply change a black brush from nromal to COLOR mode..and paint everything you want BW or
simply add a Desaturate adjustment and paint baback color with the history brush...many other options.

I just figured out how to do this myself.
Its great in my opinion.
Here are the steps i used.
Open a picture.
Select Layer >
New Adjustment Layer >
Channel Mixer >
select ok >
Set your settings to R:70 G:20 B:5
select Monochrome.
That gives you a black and white look.
Now select your eraser tool and erase over the part that you want to be color. The color from the background layer will come out.
Make sure you select your brush size to something appropriate for what your doing. |
