|
|
I am working with PE 6 on a Mac OS 10.6.4
I do have 90+ .PSD files with a few layers and transparency and want to save them as PNG. Doing this by hand one after the other, it works and transparency is preserved in the resulting PNG.
If I run the batch processor, transparency is not preserved.
What is wrong here?
Thanks! |

Without seeing the code it's difficult to give you a true answer but I would guess it is using a standard save as PNG this does not support transparency what you need is save for web PNG and would have to be changed in the script. |

Thanks, Paul.
I am not a pro in using PSE. So, I don't know which script you are talking about. In "Process multiple files..." there is no option for web-PNG, neither in the simple "Save as...".
The former does not preserve transparency, the latter does.
What else shall I explain? |

Paul,
thanks so far, but I feel so stupid not knowing what to do with the script. I placed it in
Application>MyApps>Adobe Photoshop Elements 6>Presets>Scripts
...and what now? Sorry. |
