When I run into a problem I usually just work around it, but this one is very interesting. I have a simple background for a website I'm building. I created it using the photoshop "burlap" pattern as an overlay and by shrinking the percentage to around 10% and modifying the opacity to about 40% to achieve an unobtrusive brightness. I want a representative image (only a small square) that I can set as a repeating background on the website, however I want it to carry the new softer look. I thought about trying to take a screen cap, but the "preview" option isn't representative of what it really looks like at the proper dimensions and the original pattern preview doesn't show the modifications. Any ideas or tools I'm missing? I just got CS3 so maybe there is a simple fix.

Thanks!
