Hello gentlemen
This is my first post on these forums. I started playing around with PS a little while ago, and I need some skilled people to give me some critique and advice so I can reach that alluring next level of shopping.
I made this warrior angel from a picture of one of my friends (original picture) http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk233/Huntaprey/Ultramarine/IMG_6905.jpg

When working with photomanipulations like this, pay attention to light. Your subject's shadow is in front, so this means that the light source is coming from behind, while the wings are illuminated from the front.
Either place another lower opacity shadow of the soldier so you have two sources of light, either change one of them.
I assume you played with levels or curves here ?
