Hi all,
I've been commissioned to teach an advanced PS CS class for a company's in house staff. I generally teach a beginning class, so I was wondering what would and should be on an outline for an advanced class so I can prep. What things should I make sure they know? This is what I've seen and think so far:
color management
color correction
retouching
creating realistic shadows
advanced masking and compositing
Pen tool
working in 16 bit mode
maximizing effeciency
I guess I'm feeling like there's gotta be something more to make it "advanced", or maybe that's all in my head and what I perceive to be advanced is not as advanced as I thought? I guess I'm just nervous! I don't want to let anyone down and make a mockery of my ACE certification.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

Maybe you should graze on batch processing and actions, as they greatly affect productivity in the office.
What does the company do that you're teaching for? Try to think of how Photoshop can make their jobs easier. _________________ Best Regards,

Oh yes yes... actions is on the list.
They're the company that makes those dolls called "Bratz" and other toys... I'm assuming that these people I'm training are creating the packaging and other promo materials. I'm thinking that print related issues and definitely productivity issues are essential.
I just needed a feel for how advanced is advanced.
Thanks! |
