first post here.
i'm trying to build an action/batch process that will enable me to
1) open a file
2)make 3 different selections
3)save 3 seperate files named A1, A2, A3
then...
I want to be able to open a second file and do the exact same thing... but this time, the resulting files should be name B1, B2 and B3
or something similar to this.. (maybe just 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.)
is this possible?
I was able to build steps 1,2 3 as an action but i can't figure out how to get the action to repeat without having to go in and manually change the file names.
if you don't change the name or save location when saving (while making the action) then when you run the action it'll append "copy" to the file name. Before running the action, name the pics A, B, C. The reulting files should be:
Acopy
Acopy2
Acopy3
Bcopy
Bcopy2 etc..
you could always batch rename afterwards if it's important _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth
