|
|
Hi All,
What is the optimum DPI resolution for 5X7 grey scale prints? I have my DPI set at 300. Is that good? I have also scanned these photos in with a scanner.
My Grandma has got some old photos that she would like me to blow up to 5x7's photos and that is why I am asking. I have an Epson Perfection 3200 Photo scanner and an Epson Stylus 900 photo printer.
Thanx in advance, _________________ Qubert |

The higher your DPI resolution is, the better your prints will be....Go with the highest resolution available to get the best print quality..... _________________ There's ALWAYS Room For JELL-O! |

Thank you for answering my question Death by Jell-o.
I thought because my photo are in Black and White that there would be a standerd res at 96 dpi in order for my prints to look good. _________________ Qubert |

Color has no bearing whatsoever on resolution. _________________ Best Regards,
