Hi there!
I have a photo that I want to print. Under Image Size and then Document Size the image size width is 29.091" and the height is 21.818". What I would like to do is have the image printed out as width 10" and height 8". Could someone please help me to figure out how to go about doing this? I have Photoshop 7. _________________ ~always dance as if no one's watching~ |

You can’t get exactly 8” X 10” without cropping or distorting the image a little.
To get to 10 X 7.5 inches, open the Image Size dialog and with Resample Image UNCHECKED type in 10 in the width input (inches).
This will give you very close to an 8X10 Print.
If you need the exact 8X10 in size: select the crop tool, in its the Options bar type “10 in” and “8 in” respectively in the Width and Height inputs. LEAVE THE RESOLUTION INPUT BLANK.
Now use the crop tool on the image. You’ll be forced to trim a little off the length (as 29.1:21.8 is a little longer than a 10:8 ratio). |
