I have one very large vector logo and I made it smaller with scaling it down. Also I wrote some title under it.

Now, when I try to zoom to see how it looks from closer everything is a bit distorted.

Shouldnt a nice big vector that was minimzed look good after zoomin. Also the font should not distort. Why is this?

What you are describing is probably happening because Photoshop by default saves rasterized images.

There are tricks to get vectors out of Photoshop however the work must be paths, not layers.
When you import vector files into PS, photoshop will automatically rasterize them.

Best way to re-size a vector is to use Adobe Illustrator (Vector editing software).
If you don't have it and don't want to buy it you can download free alternatives to Illustrator like Inkscape.
