I'm trying to cut out the outline of a guitar from a photo using the magic want tool. The line never seems that sharp. Always step shaped aliasing
on close up. Tried the feathering option but then it just seemed blurry.
How do you get the cleanest sharpest contour line possible. Touch up by hand takes forever and is hard to get neat. Does it matter how enlarged the photo is when you are working on it?
Thanks

1)Use the pentool to select the guitar. *****
2) if you aren't a fan of the pentool (you should be) try using the Polygonal tool. making clicks very often around the round parts.
3) Quick mask.
