Guess this qualifies as a digital painting (?) If not, feel free to cancel it out.

i like that. it seems that the ship is a little to sharp in comparison to the planet. also blue afterburners seem like maybe they should fade a little more throughout instead of being completly solid then the right at the end they fade. but im not trying to tell you wahts wrong im just offering suggestions. that may be exactly how you wanted it you know. good job though keep up the good work

the sharpness of the ship is about what I wanted. Sort of a photographic depth of field thing. I wanted the attention to be on the ship. As for the (flames) you're right. I made the ship separately on a transp. background then placed it into the space scene. the transluscency didn't work as planned.
Thanks.

I realy like alien terrain, althouh the 'jellyfish's' tentacles look a bit static.
The colours work well although some of the elements are a little out of balance.
It may be have a better composition with the jellyfish removed.
Then I would consider hanging it on my wall.

very cool. i like your style on the boat scene. i like the alien terrain picture too. i saw that you said you cant seem to get enough detail. try smaller sharper brushes with more contrast. I have the same problem alot. but maybe that will help. try using the burn, and dodge tool to creat more shadows/highlights. i am a new fan of those two tools haha. anyway looks good though keep up the good work
