How can I know which font + size has been used to add a text in an image? When I open it in ps i get only a single layer...

You cant go backwards once the image has been made 'flat'. You will have to find out which font it is some other way. You could try uploading a sample of it here.

thx, but is there a more advance software which could do this as well?
I tried uploading the image on that site but it gave me about 76 matches, and when I went through them I did not get the one or one which was very close to that in use in my image

Plain old Arial is close, Could be Calibri... easy in PS to put the letters closer together if needed!
