I have seen somewhere {cant remember where} that to place text behind an image you simply drag the text layer below the image layer. i have tried this but cant get it to work. Any ideas please ?

It should work but of course the layer would need transparency, otherwise it would simply cover the text and you wouldn't see it at all. |
