When drawing on my still new Wacom Cintiq 12WX in Photoshop CS4, it sometimes locks on the Shift key effect somehow. Every line I try drawing makes a straight line from the point where the pen touched the tablet to the point where I lift it, no curves at all. Sometimes it's solved by saving the document, sometimes it's solved by exiting the document, and sometimes I can only fix it by exiting the whole program itself. Rarely it can be fixed by Undoing until before the problem occured, which would be far the easiest way to go, and I wouldn't whine about this if it'd only been possible.

Bottom line, this is an extremely annoying issue. Especially considering it happens about 10+ times a day.

Any idea what could be the cause, and/or preferably solution to this?

Bumping this topic up a notch. The problem described above persists, now more than ever. It's driving me insane having to restart Photoshop every two minutes in some severe occasions. Sometimes it can take hours between each time it occurs, but that's rare.

Another problem that doesn't happen quite as often is that the pen pressure is turned off. This is solved in the same way as the 'straight line' problem.
