I can normally touch up my digital photos but this one of my cousin at his graduation I'm really stumped.
I tried to use Shadow/Highlight to get the whole pic. brighter so we can see the guy on the left but the whole right side of the image is so bright (because of the sunlight) it looks awful...
Any ideas? (this is a really important picture I want to get right).

You can dogde the faces and body, also burning the background. Or you can use the brightness like you were saying, add a little contrast so image isn't flat, then take you history brush tool and click on the background. By doing this with the history brush the background will turn into the colors it originally was before you added the brightness and contrast. Play around and don't be afraid to experiment. |
