Hello, I did a logo for a website using PSCs6 , is only text with a black backgroung. I am uploading this to a wordpress template. As you see in the picture I would like to soft those edges to match the fading gray color os the template, how can I do this?

Find the graphic in your Wordpress template, it will be located somewhere in the template folder. Open Photoshop and recreate it to suit your needs. Without knowing your exact values in the gradient it's going to be tough to re-create, it would be easier to customise the graphics and template to match eachother. Oh and make a copy of the original
