hello I'm new here  lol neways I have friends who want a site to do with their Band Name Doubting Thomas....they wanted a logo with a vector hand (i guess) with a puncture in it from like a nail or something ....then the site would just be built around that...but I haven't the slightest idea how to make a vector hand like that ..so if someone could conjure one up for me...even a grayscale on with the punture woould be rad!! even without I have some ideas for it ... I was thining like the fingers could be curled...a bit...inwards I dunno I just need an outline lol

Why a vector hand? why not use a photo and fake the wound? Wayne

I may be able to do that...but have you seen the cover for Metallica's new album St. Anger? I think that's the look they wanted...

If I were doing something on those lines I would use Poser. Then set the hand to a position I liked then 'cartoon' it

You can fake vector drawings perfectly in PS. Take a photograph of the hand the way you need it (minus the nail going thru it...)and trace it using the pen tool (vector)..I ran the photo thru the photocopy filter, then thru threshold painted everything black Put a little drip in there..
The thing scares me ..I daubt this is what a Christian rock band is looking for but maybe you guys can get some ideas from it..or not.
