Simple Question, how do i import images?

I have a file open already with an existing image on it, how do i import another image into that same file. I know on CS2 it's File,Import,etc but on CS3 I'm completely lost. I'm sorry if this question is dumb. lol

Hi gR Silent,
- Open the 2nd image
- Select an area with a selection tool or just tap [Ctr+A] to select all
- Press [Ctrl+C] to copy the selected area to clipboard
- Return to the 1st document
- Press [Ctrl+V] to paste. The added graphic appears as a new layer.
