Hey there folks,
I am in a bit of a bind with an image I made long ago, unfotunately I have lost the psd due to hard drive errors and now I am hoping to use the shape I created in the amage but I am having problems creating a mask or selection that will allow me to recreate the logo as without the other stuff I have in the image.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly welcomed. The part I am looking to exreact is the main "tribal" type logo, excluding the grid, text and drop shadow that is there at the moment.
Thanks a million in advance!

ps. If there are any questions about copyright or anything like that I am the owner of this image and there is no such company called synoptic media. It was an idea I had that never came to fruition heehee

Well, it will take a little bit of time, but you could do this one of a couple of ways. You could simply use your eraser and erase everything except the tribal part. You could make a duplicate layer and then click select/color range to mask out a selection.

Or you could use the pen tool and basically outline everything that you want to keep and copy the selection to a new layer.
Hope this helps.
