I want to create a script (will most likely actually be saved as an application on Mac OS X) so that I can drag and drop my images onto the app and it'll perform a certain action in PS. I currently have Photoshop CS but may be upgrading to CS3 in the relatively near future. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey MBasile,

Have you tried creating an action and saving it as a droplet?

A Photoshop droplet is a mini application that you can save to a location on your hard drive, and then when you want to run the action, or actions, you simply drag the file onto the droplet and Photoshop does the rest. You don't even need Photoshop open to run it!

You can create a droplet by going to File > Automate > Create Droplet.

Hope this helps
