I'm using photoshop 7. If I save for web and save as PNG and preserve transparency, it seems to be showing up on forums as transparent for some of the people, but I still see a white box behind my siggy on colored pages. I'm also seeing the white background on all of the buttons on the forum, and the creator of the forum saved them all as PNG and she sees no white. Does this have something to do with the version of IE I'm running (which I'm pretty sure is 6)?? I've asked several other windows users on the forum if they see the white background and they say no! I see it on all 3 of my computers. Any ideas???? Thanks! |

Yeah this is most likely a browser issue. I don't think IE6 supported PNG alpha channels. Is there a reason you haven't updated to IE7 yet?
Hope this helps _________________ Matt
