Hi all,
I'm fairly new to PS, I got PS CS4 after using Gimp for years.

My question is: how can you resize a layer so that it equals the size of the image? Like if I have a smaller layer, and I want to make it as big as the image (aspect ratio doesn't matter - I don't care if the layer proportions change)

And I'd like to know how to make the reverse - if I have a layer bigger than the image, how can I resize it to fit the image and/or crop it to image size?

I know I could do the resizing manually with the Transform tool, but I'd like to use this step in an action, so I'd like to automate it.

I hope I'm making sense. Like i said I'm new to PS terminology!

Thanks in advance,

Anna
