Hey guys,
Alright, so this is probably (hopefully) a very stupid question with a simple stupid answer...I'm an intermediate level photoshop user (running CS4), and have been trying to render clouds using the filter tool, changing the foreground color purple (over a black bkgrd) in order to create a "space nebula" kind of scene. Simple, right? Well, I can't get it to render in any color other than black/wht. Why, I have no idea. I have updated my graphics card driver, updated Photoshop, and have been over every single point on the Adobe troubleshooting list. Any ideas? ![Confused](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

Add a solid colour/hue saturation adjustment layer.

That is strange it should work the way you have described.
Possibly something removing the colors, have you tried on a blank document? |

Well, I finally got it to work...First, I did try to add a hue adjustment layer, and that kinda worked, but then it also added color to the layers underneath. And yeah I also tried it on a blank document as well, many times to no avail. What was weird was that I was just playing with image resolutions, when I went to image>mode, and changed the color setting to 8-bit, down from 16, and voila, it worked! Does this make sense to anybody? |

I wouldn't have picked it as the reason, but it makes sense. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
