Hi, I've been unable to find a way of making a reflection of a cup in the floor directly below it.

I've had a look at displacement maps and had a mess around with a few other transformation tools but none of them are able to change the image so it wraps around the curve of the cup (and still has the same perspective)

Any solutions gratefully received!

Thanks, Adam

Welcome to the forum titaniumapple!

Not totally sure what effect you want, but....

You could try duplicating and flipping the image and then creating a white to transparent gradient to give the impression that the reflection is receeding. Don't forget to play with the layer opacity to better effect what you want.

I might be off kilter here altogether, but I hope it helps a little. Shout out if you need more help/hinderance

Glad you made it to the forum :)

The trick thehermit described works on 2D only i guess. Or at an exact straight view.

i've found out how to do it for anyone interested - using warp, then changing 'custom' to 'arch' and after getting it close i use the selection tool, move the middle pivot point and rotate it. From then on it's just judging it and continuing to use the normal warp tool
