Hello all, I am a complete Photoshop newbie and this is my first project...
I am trying to create an avatar for another forum. I cropped down an image in Photoshop CS, then took it to Image Ready and added animated text. The process I used was Make Each Layer a Frame. I then used the 'Make Visible' option in Layers for the appropriate text positioning in each frame. Once I adjusted everything and set the appropriate frame delay timings, I was very happy with the result!
Now for my problem...
I saved the file in Image Ready as a PSD and now need to convert it to a GIF for use on the forums. Checking the PS Help it says to open the PSD file in Photoshop, then use Save As to save it as a GIF.
I did so, but the resultant file is a still image and the animated text I added doesn't scroll.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction? |

You must open the file in image ready, and then click "save optimized as"...then choose gif. _________________ Melanie Ward
