Hello all. I'm new here - I've been having a wierd problem that I'm hoping someone here can help me with.
I'm a newbie to using RAW (using Nikon NEF format), but I'm 99.874% sure I've done with with no problem. I have an image that I've opened in the RAW editor and adjusted the white balance, and saved the change by clicking the "done" button. When I view the photo's thumbnail in Bridge, I see my chagnes, and the XMP file associated with the changes seem to be there (the xmp file is larger than the default). I can also see the changes when I open the image in the RAW editor again. When I open the image in CS2, however (either by right-clicking on the image and doing an "open with..." or by clikcing the "Open" button in the RAW editor), I see the original image. It's as if CS2 is not recognizing the XMP file.
If anyone has any ideas on what I could be doing, I'd really appreciate the help. This is starting to drive me buggy. _________________ It's not the Jedi way |
