Hello I'm new on this forum and thank you for designer it
I have this problem , I try to make a photo with shadow so I did this steps
open new pic >> new layer >> layer style >> blending option >> then
check the drop shadow >> ok
but it;s not show the shadow in the pic
and this is my pic with the steps I did

You need something on the layer to leave a shadow a blank layer wont do it. Wayne
