Hello! I'm fairly new to photoshop and could use some help with textures, if you're willing to help.
I'm working on creating a flyer. The document I made is 5.5x4.5 inches. I opened a textured image in photoshop and resized it to approximately the same in pixels, which is 396x324. I copied the newly sized textured image and pasted it into a new layer for the document. When I pasted it, it got blurry. I didn't think it would get blurry, especially since I made it smaller and not bigger. I will attach the image so that you can see what it looks like. THanks so much in advance for the help!

Instead of copying & pasting the layer, if you right-click the layer and select Duplicate Layer, does the issue still occur?
