Hi I'm trying to extract my dog from the background, but can't seem to make a nice edge. somewone who can tell me which tool to use and perhaps how

Here's your dog on a white background

All you have to do it use the lasso tool to make selection and then use refine edge feature.
I can provide the image of your dog on a transparent background if you need to place it in a different background. |

I would use a calculation to combine the green and blue channel as a basis for a good mask, refine with dodge and burn and then output to a selection and as Black Rose suggests use the refine edge. If needed get the smudge tool to blend/composite into the new scene. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
