Hi I have been wondering whether there are a shortcut when you use the brush so you easily can reduze or enlarge the brush size

Yes.

Alt + Right Mouse + move left right to decrease/increase brush size and up/down decrease/increase the brushes hardness.

thanks a lot the trick with the mouse seems to work just fine. the other idea dont seem to work for me. I cant locate the icons on my pc
