I am new to photoshop and illustrator and have a few questions.
I need to make a logo like what you see in the link. Is this "T" a certain font or was it most likely drawn on illustrator?
Is there a site where I can enter the letter "T" and see all the different types of fonts?
What is the best forum for asking adobe illustrator questions?

What the font is good for finding unknown fonts
http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
When you use what the font you will have to help it out by removing the word 'model' from the picture and adding the missing part of the stem for the letter T.
I already tried the above for you and the font is a close match to Odile Semibold. Odile Semibold is font you have to pay for to download.
DaFont is the best place to find free fonts however you have to work with what they have.
